  • Scramble 3 egg whites and 1 yolk in the microwave
  • Place egg on a warm tortilla (wholemeal if you can find them)
  • Add some raw spinach leaves
  • Add a spoonful of low fat cottage cheese
  • Add a few leaves of fresh basil and a little tomato puree
  • Season
  • Wrap and eat

  • Place crab meat and drained sweetcorn on a warm tortilla (wholemeal if you can find them)
  • Add some raw spinach leaves
  • Add a couple of tablespoons of fresh salsa/chopped tomato
  • Season
  • Wrap and eat
 
Scrambled egg on toast with avocado and spinach PDF Print E-mail

  • Two slices of wholemeal toast with thin layer of tomato puree spread on top.
  • Add pepper and mixed herbs to 3 egg whites, 1 yolk. scramble in microwave, stopping every 20 seconds to mash up egg as it cooks.
  • Place on plate with sliced avocado and spinach leaves.

Apple cinnamon raisin porridge PDF Print E-mail

  • Dice a small apple into a breakfast bowl.
  • Add a dash of water, cover with a plate and microwave on full power for 3 minutes.
  • Add 1/4 to 1/2 mug of porridge oats and twice that amount of skimmed milk.
  • Add a handful of raisins and a tsp of cinnamon powder.
  • Microwave on full power for 2 minutes.
  • Stir, and microwave for a further minute or until desired consistency (will continue to thicken out of the microwave).

Into a blender:

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup porridge oats
  • 300 ml skimmed milk
  • 1 dessert spoon hot chocolate powder
  • 2 dessert spoons skimmed milk powder (optional added protein and carb)
  • 1 desert spoon smooth peanut butter (optional added protein and carb)
  • 1 desert spoon flax seed
  • 1 desert spoon flax seed oil
  • add water to desired thickness
